There are some opportunities as an artist you just can't pass up. Not every one of these opportunities will come wrapped in plastic or be dressed in glitter and gold. Sometimes its just you a camera a mic and your surroundings....
Ramone Applies Pressure Ep. 8
I was first introduced to Arthouse Digital by a family member. I was at a family gathering and my cousin pulled me aside and asked "Carl are you working with Arthouse & Lamont Pierre?" I was immediately taken aback by his knowledge of my current work and I replied "Yes, how did you know?" Unbeknownst to me my cousin was a huge fan of their work and marveled at the idea of me working with them. From that point on I knew I had aligned myself with something special.

Spoon & Ramone Ep. 9
'Ghosts of Fort Greene' takes us through the life of 'Hop' and his mosaic of seedy friends and associates as they are haunted by emotional baggage, dark secrets and shady pasts as they try to survive on the streets of Brooklyn. I play the role of 'Ramone' a lieutenant in the character's 'Spoon' street faction who's always looking for a come up and validation in the streets. My character first appears in Episode 4 and has played an instrumental role in every episode following.

A.P, Spoon & Ramone Ep. 9
I began shooting with Arthouse in October of 2018 and I've had an amazing time in every scene we've shot. As a native Brooklynite I immediately jumped at the opportunity to express my knowledge, upbringing and duality of what it means to embody Brooklyn from a street perspective. This role has challenged me in more ways than one. Before every shoot I'm consistently thinking about ways to add texture to Ramone's character. New York is an ever changing ecosystem and Brooklyn is it's own bubble within that system. The smallest complexities such as "slang" can change a mile a minute.
Ramone Car Scene Ep. 7
Stay tuned as Arthouse continues filming Ghost of Fort Greene in 2021.
